Mason’s Annual Food Drive

The Buffalo area Masonic Lodge, Nelson Lodge No. 135 Ancient Free and Accepted Masons (AF & AM), began the 7th Annual Food Shelf Matching Funds Drive program.

This year’s food drive ended on Feb. 28, 2018.  As in years past, the Lodge has focused its efforts on the Buffalo and Annandale/ Maple Lake area food shelves.

This year we will be receiving a check in the amount of $21,152.00. We are so very grateful for your partnership. The community and Buffalo food shelf value your efforts in making the food shelf successful.

Tiger Den Scouts

A surge of energy was the effect of the visit to the Buffalo Food Shelf when the Tiger Den Scouts of Pack 356 Buffalo. Tiger Den did a food collection and scouts made Christmas cards with candy canes, which were given to Food Shelf clients. The eight Tiger Scouts and their leaders toured the Food Shelf to learn how the Food Shelf operates. With that completed the Tigers jumped on the portable scale to learn they weighed just over 500 pounds as a group. We at the Food Shelf were delighted with their visit, their energy, and thankful for their support.
