Frozen meals for Seniors

Buffalo Food Shelf, in coordination with WCCA (Wright County Community Action) will be providing: free,  frozen, heat and eat meals to Seniors 60+.  These meals are generated by Catholic Charities.  Meals come in individualized packages of 10.  Meals maybe picked up at the Buffalo Food Shelf or received through free home delivery.  In order for Seniors to qualify you must complete a NAPIS form to allow continued funding of the program.   Seniors will have an opportunity to complete the NAPIS form on Senior Monday, April 5, at the Buffalo Food Shelf.  Or any time we are open.  Or you may  call WCCA at 320-963-6500, ext 274, Eric Nagel. BHM Schools – Free School Meals Delivery Sign-Up

Sign up for free breakfast and lunch meal delivery from BHM Schools the week of APRIL 6-10.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE: All children age 18 and under and individuals 19 and over with state-defined mental or physical disabilities who participate in school programs. Someone from your household must be available to accept the daily meal delivery at the scheduled time/location.
DELIVERY TIMES AND LOCATIONS: Delivery times and locations will be emailed/texted to your prior to Monday, April 6.
DELIVERY DATES: Monday-Friday, April 6-10
DEADLINE TO SIGN UP: Friday, March 27 @ 5:00 PM. Future opportunities for meal delivery will be communicated through email/text in the event that you miss this deadline.
NOTE: IF YOU ARE ALREADY SIGNED UP FOR MEAL DELIVERY YOU DO NOT NEED TO SIGN UP AGAIN.

 


Meal Distribution

Beginning Friday, March 27, and continuing over Spring Break through Friday, April 3, FREE meals will be available for ALL children ages 18 and under and individuals 19 and over with state-defined mental or physical disabilities who participate in school programs, via curb-side pick-up at the front entrances, unless otherwise noted, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the following locations:

Hanover Elementary–274 Labeaux Ave NE, Hanover
Montrose Elementary School of Innovation–100 2nd St. S, Montrose
Parkside Elementary–northwest corner of the building; look for signs–207 3rd Ave NE, Buffalo

We will provide more direction and information on meal distribution plans for after Spring Break once we have more information to share.
